You probably have questions. That makes complete sense — especially if you've never worked with a coach before, or if you're not entirely sure coaching is what you need.
Here are the ones I hear most often. If yours isn't here, reach out — I'm always happy to talk it through.
FAQs
What is coaching?
1
Coaching is a structured thinking partnership.
I help you get out of your own head, see your situation more clearly, and move forward with more intention and less second-guessing.
It's not advice-giving. It's not therapy. It's a space to think — with someone who's fully focused on you.
Is Coaching right for me?
2
Coaching tends to be a great fit if you're a high-achieving professional who:
Feels quietly unfulfilled despite outward success
Has a decision to make and keeps going in circles
Knows something needs to change but can't figure out what
Wants a dedicated space to think clearly about their life and work
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from coaching. Most of my clients are doing well by every external measure — they just want more than 'fine.'
I’m not sure I have time for this.
3
This is one of the most common things I hear — and it's worth examining.
Sessions are 45 minutes, once a week or every two weeks. Most clients find that the clarity they gain actually saves time — less energy spent going in circles, fewer decisions made from anxiety or habit.
The people who feel they don't have time are often exactly the people who need this most.
What kinds of topics can we work on?
4
My work tends to focus on:
Career direction and transitions
Purpose and fulfillment (the 'is this really it?' feeling)
Decision-making and moving past being stuck
Identity shifts in mid-career and beyond
Confidence and self-trust at senior levels
Designing what the next chapter of your life looks like
If you're not sure whether your situation fits — just reach out. We can figure it out together.
How is coaching different from therapy?
5
Therapy often focuses on healing, mental health, and processing the past.
Coaching focuses more on the present and future — helping you build awareness, clarify goals, and move forward intentionally.
While coaching can feel deeply supportive and reflective, it is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support.
If I believe therapy or another form of support would better serve you, I’ll always communicate that with care.
What can I expect during a session?
6
Sessions are warm, conversational, and judgment-free.
Together, we may:
Explore what’s feeling challenging or unclear
Identify patterns or limiting beliefs
Clarify priorities and values
Brainstorm possibilities
Create realistic next steps
My goal is for you to leave feeling more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.
How long are sessions?
7
Individual coaching sessions are typically 45 minutes.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
8
Yes. Sessions are currently offered virtually.
Is coaching worth the investment?
It's a fair question — and usually, it isn't really about the money.
Most of my clients are people who invest in everyone and everything else without blinking: their kids, their teams, their homes, their work. The hesitation shows up only when the investment is in themselves.
So here's the honest answer: coaching is worth it if you use it. You'll leave each session with more clarity than you came in with, and concrete next steps — not just good conversation. (My clients also get a recap email after every session, so nothing gets lost.)
And you don't have to decide all at once. Start with a free 30-minute discovery call, or a single Thinking Session ($120) — one hour that's entirely yours. You'll know very quickly whether this is worth it for you.
